This is my hope to express my ideals, joys and sorrows. My hopes to raise my children in my faith, stand against animal cruelty and speak up for religious freedom. In a small way I hope to be the butterfly that causes the hurricane. Knowledge will free us from the lies we tell ourselves.
You are refreshing and vital as the air, graceful and tender as sparkling water, lustrous and consuming as flames of fire, generous and enveloping as space and stable and deep as the earth.. you elemental woman are perfect beauty itself. *Ancient essay on the five elemental women of Indian mythology* (http://www.lexiyoga.com/indian-beauty-secrets)
Yesterday, we were sitting in the living room watching tv and my mind started to wander and I started sufing the internet. I was reading articles about war, and religious propaganda. I guess my face looked sad and withdrawn because my kids started to try and get me off the computer. My son insisted I play this song from an anime he watches called "Spice and the Wolf". When I hesitated he said "Come On it will cheer you up..you'll like it" So I put on the show and went to end and played the song...and you know what it made me smile and I started to laugh..this song is to cute. Soon all the kids were smiling and singing along. I get a big smile from my son as he says" See I knew you'd like it" I felt so bad my serious expression had made them want to make me smile. I just love those silly monkeys. ^_^ I have this song as my ringtone for the kids...I'll keep at as a reminder that my kids like me better when I'm not a crabby-pants..lol..Be Blessed* Here is the song and the lyrics:
You are a Reality-Based Intellectualist, also known as the liberal elite. You are a proud member of what’s known as the reality-based community, where science, reason, and non-Jesus-based thought reign supreme.
Lucky you, my kids try to cheer me up with saliva, applied to my face. :)
