Challenge update*

Ok.. I work tomorrow so I will give a quick update today. I want to lie to you guys I realllyyy do...but...uhhhhh....I won't. ;p I have not exercised at all. The only thing I have managed to do is increase my water intake 1-2 32oz bottles of water a day and decreasing my caffeine intake. This has not been easy as I am severely addicted to sweet lady caffeine...I have been going through caffeine withdrawal..sounds silly I know, but the migraines are horrendous. On the brightside though the increase of water has caused me to shed alot of water weight....makes me reminiscent of when I was prego and had to run to the bathroom every 5 Also my skin is brightening up and I have been sleeping better..always a plus.
This week I will promise to do better..*cross my heart* I will get off my butt and go walking and I plan to go grocery shopping in the next few days and I will stock up on fruits and veggies and less on my other addiction pizza ;p Oh how I love to have a Dr. Pepper and a slice of pepperoni and watch of my favorite pastimes. Sigh... I know I know...but I one of those people who likes their rut..but it is time for me to find a new rut like living a healthy active lifestyle.
I wish I could have written something inspiring and motivational. I know so many of you have grabbed the bull by the horns and I am so proud of all of you. I just think it would have been hypocritical of me to say one thing and be doing another. I do promise to do better, but I can't promise to never mess up. So, that being said let us keep moving forward and trying to meet our goals. Good Luck to everyone!

  1. Try cutting the caffeine gradually to deal with the migraines. My husband and I both had to do it gradually because we were unbearable other wise (me with migraines and him a massive grouch).

Baby steps will make it all more comfortable (I liked my rut too).

  2. Caffiene withdrawal IS brutal, especially if you're going cold turkey (shudder). I allow myself coffee once anweek--Saturdays, as a matter of fact.

As for messing up, none of us can ride a rainbow without sliding. We're human, embrace the flaw and ride again.

Tuesday is my "TV Night"--NCIS &Rachel Maddow. Usually with popcorn (read HUGE bowl of popcorn with oodles of real butter and sea salt--gonna miss that something fierce, won't I?).

Good thoughts to you and spouse.

  3. I think this is totally inspirational!! You admit to your addictions and slips and that takes a lot of courage! I love my ruts too :) I have just let them run and now I need to do something before they do something serious to me. Good Luck this week! Blessings
