Ok, I know I'm a nut, but this was just insulting. I am sitting here watching tv..flipping around..you know being lazy and this marathon of Wife Swap is on. I don't normally watch this show, but I am bored and left it on. Ok...the episode is the Ghahi/Stallone Family and this is a bit insulting. The first part is the introductions of course and they show the dedicated mom who does waaaay to much for her family and then the "earthy, spiritual mom" who apparently is a pig. For me being spiritual does not being filthy and this is not the first show to express this ideal.
It's as if being a bit of a hippie or vegan whether your Pagan or not it doesn't matter you must be someone who does clean your house or bathe. UGH!!
I know I am being silly, but if someone came into my home apart of a show like this and wanting me to be a "typical bohemian" they would be out of luck. My house is clean, we believe in personal hygiene and even "GASP" watching tv and eating some meat. Oh my what will the neighbors think? *smirk*
Ok, I'm done..just had to let it out. ^_^
Update: Sorry I had to add this..the "earthy" family are flakes(in my humble opinion) and as Pagan and "earthy" as I am they would completely get on my nerves.LOL

lol, i was watching that tonight! And annoyed. Most of the Pagans and Witches they get for these shows tend to be the weirdest and flakiest people of all. I found myself reflecting on my clean home, how I find cleaning spiritual; compared to that lady's 15 minutes. Sheesh! :-)
