Fitness Update #3

http://zumbagoodness.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/exercise-cartoon-2.gif?w=500&h=371
Soooo...didn't do very well this week. I allowed job issues and planning for my hubby's 30th bday on top of normal everyday stress to give me an excuse to drink way to many sodas and eat way to much. I kept planning on exercising yet never actually got off my butt to do it. Sigh...and you know what I am feeling it...I was feeling good, I felt like I can do this and BLAH! I feel dragged down and I feel like I'm letting everyone down and since I am inherently a people pleaser this is the worst for me. So my goal this week is to tell myself how wonderful I am and how great I started to feel pushing myself to live healthier...I will do better even if I have to kick myself in the butt to do it. Hope everyone else had a better week. Good Luck!

  1. Don't worry, it takes a while for the good living to become a habit. ^^

  2. Next week will be better. Holidays and celebration make plans hard to follow, but as long as you had fun, don't worry about it. Love you!

  3. I am having the same problem this week. I vote we blame it on week 3 blahs and not worry about it. Week 4 can start the week 4 regroup where we pull it together and have a great week.

    Good luck.

  5. It takes 21 days to make or break a habit, or so I've been told.
Your mantra for week 4: I am good to others, and I am good to myself. I do my best for others; I do my best for myself. I am rewarded by doing for others, but my greatest reward is my health."
    Repeat daily as needed.
You can do this. We tend tomforget to be kind to ourselves. Pick one day a week to splurge, gently. A "diet night out" if you will. Eat healthy, but treat yourself to that slice of cake, or glass of wine, or two cookies (and put the rest of the damn cookies in the back of the freezer or on the top shelf of the pantry where you have to get the step ladder to reach them)!
And my downfall is gourmet jelly beans.
